Job description
We're looking for a hard working individual to join our growing business who has experience with either Landscape Gardening, Labouring, Maintenance Work or a trained tradesman.
We're looking for;
Ability to work out the best ways of doing things. Our business depends on the speed. We don't cut corners so efficiency is what we are looking for. We will deliver some training on efficiency but we expect you to use as much initiative as possible.
Attitude. The work is demanding but rewarding. For the business to work properly all the staff need to have a good attitude. We are looking for:
Reliability
Honesty
Desire to constantly improve
Ability to follow rules and instructions
Positive attitude to work
Asks when they don’t know/ clarifies when they don’t understand
Attention to detail
Ability to tolerate bad weather conditions
Skills. Skills are important to us but they are not as important as attitudes and abilities. We hire for attitudes and train for skills. Skills and experience are important but not essential to the role. They are:
Manual work
Paving
Cementing
Turfing
Fencing
Heavy lifting
Experience is not essential. We care more about a good work ethic and the ability to learn quickly.
Training will be delivered on the job. If you are keen to learn new skills, this may be the job for you.
